Ingredients:

For the Grilled Pork Chops:

  1. 500g pork chops
  2. 3 cloves garlic, minced
  3. 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  2. 200g ground pork
  3. 100g shrimp, peeled, deveined, and finely chopped
  4. 1 cup shredded carrots
  5. 1 cup bean sprouts
  6. 1/4 cup wood ear mushrooms, rehydrated and finely chopped
  7. 1/4 cup vermicelli noodles, cooked and chopped
  8. 2 cloves garlic, minced
  9. 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  10. 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  11. 1 teaspoon sugar
  12. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  13. Vegetable oil for frying

For Serving:

  1. Jasmine rice, cooked
  2. Fresh herbs (mint, cilantro, and basil)
  3. Lettuce leaves
  4. Cucumber, sliced
  5. Nuoc Cham (Vietnamese dipping sauce)

Instructions:

Grilled Pork Chops:

  1. In a bowl, combine minced garlic, soy sauce, fish sauce, honey, vegetable oil, five-spice powder (if using), and black pepper.
  2. Marinate the pork chops in the mixture for at least 30 minutes, or preferably overnight for enhanced flavor.
  3. Grill the marinated pork chops until fully cooked and slightly charred on the edges. Allow them to rest before slicing.

Egg Rolls (Chả Giò):
