Grilled Chicken Vermicelli – a Unique and Familiar Dish

Grilled Chicken Vermicelli

Referring to grilled pork vermicelli, we often think of white vermicelli noodles served with grilled pork and sweet and sour sauce with a seductive aroma. Still the same flavor harmony, but today let’s try a little variation with grilled chicken vermicelli to innovate for this familiar dish!

Ingredients:

Noodle part:

  • 1 portion of vermicelli
  • 800 grams of chicken thighs
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 lemongrass tree
  • 30 grams of lemon juice
  • 30 grams of fish sauce
  • 15 grams of soy sauce
  • 30 grams of brown sugar
  • 15 grams of cooking oil
  • Vermicelli, carrot, cucumber, raw vegetables

 

Sauce part:

  • 60 grams of fish sauce
  • 15 grams of sugar
  • 100 grams of water
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 chili
  • 100 grams of lemon juice

Instructions:

Step 1:

  • First oil, smash, mince garlic and lemongrass.

Step 2:

  • Mix lemon juice, brown sugar, fish sauce, soy sauce, minced garlic, lemongrass and little oil to make a marinade for chicken. Then, pour in the chicken and turn it over to infuse the spices.

Step 3:

  • While waiting for the chicken to absorb the spices for about 20 minutes, you need to prepare the side dishes. Chop cucumbers, carrots and lettuce into bite-sized pieces.

Step 4:

  • Make a sauce including fish sauce, water, sugar, lemon juice, garlic and minced chili (for seasoning depending on preference).

Step 5:

  • Grill the chicken in a pan with a little oil until one is cooked, then turn over and grill the other side for a few minutes.

Step 6:

  • Put vermicelli, grilled chicken and vegetables in a bowl and pour the sauce over it.
