Spicy Meat Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 500g of your choice of meat (chicken, beef, or pork), thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili paste or sriracha sauce (adjust according to your spice preference)
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, chili paste, minced garlic, and minced ginger to create the marinade.
  2. Add the thinly sliced meat to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, or ideally, overnight in the refrigerator.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers, and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they start to soften.
  4. Add the marinated meat to the skillet or wok, spreading it out into an even layer. Allow it to cook without stirring for 2-3 minutes to get a nice sear on one side.
  5. Stir-fry the meat and vegetables together for another 3-4 minutes until the meat is fully cooked and the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and adjust the spiciness if needed by adding more chili paste or sriracha sauce.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
